About the project
The Community Quilt Project is a grassroots, non-affiliated initiative by people in Barnet. The project is aimed at fostering unity and standing against the racist and divisive rhetoric of the far-right and the systems that feed it.Through the collaborative creation of a community quilt, this project seeks to celebrate and commemorate the diversity of Barnet, particularly welcoming and integrating refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.The quilt, composed of patches contributed by people of all ages and backgrounds, will symbolise the unity and solidarity of the evolving community for years to come.

Make a Patch
You can create your own individual or a group patch that represents your vision of a connected and inclusive community. No special skills are needed — just your creativity and a desire to participate!When you have made your patch, please fill out our form by clicking the link to share 'Your patch story'. We want to credit the wonderful artists who contribute.
Join a workshop
We will facilitate patch-making workshops across Barnet where everyone can learn, share ideas, and meet others in the community. These sessions will be a great way to get involved and strengthen connections with people from different backgrounds.
Host a workshop
If you’re part of a community group, why not host your own patch-making workshop? It’s a fantastic way to bring your group together for something meaningful.
